My North Wedding Magazine

Back in October I was informed of a new wedding magazine focused solely on Northern Michigan. I just had to be a part of it so I gave them a few images that they could use as well as taking out a quarter page ad. I absolutely love the idea of a serious, classy, and well produced publication that features our area. You can find it on news stands everywhere or you can click here to see the articles. If you are planning a Northern Michigan Wedding click here for great local resources also found at the My North Wedding site.

These are some of my images that they used (except the cover photo).

Kelly + Aaron

I've been anticipating this blog post for months! This was a super-fun Engagement Session shot in Traverse City this past October. We had a ton of fun and got some REALLY great images!

My Little Girl. . .

I know, I know, you want to see more pictures of Marin. It might seem as though I've been procrastinating but being a daddy takes up so much time! Needless to say I would rather take care of her than post images on my blog, sorry.

And now, for your viewing pleasure, here is a Marin-palooza Photo Extravaganza!
(taken over the last month)

Annie took these photos

little blue eyes

and she's spent.

One week old!

Marin is one week old and I thought I'd post some photos to document the occasion. She is so beautiful, she obviously gets it from her mommy.

Happiness defined.

She must get THIS from her mommy too.
"not more photos daddy!"

I do the same thing when I look at Annie too.

No words.

Our New Baby!. . . . Marin Attie Weber

Friday at 1:33 am, I was awoke to Annie telling me "get up, my water broke!". We went from zero to active labor in a matter of minutes!

We decided a while back to have our baby at home. Although this was our first pregnancy we were very confident about the labor process and felt a home birth would best suit our needs. In attendance was Ann's mom who was once a mid-wife, Kathi (our mid-wife), Rory (Ann's cousin and Kathi's apprentice). Each of them played a hugely pivotal role in the 8 hour birth process which ended at 9:18 am on Friday the 5th of December. Although things went very smoothly we could not have done it without each of their individual skills and attributes.

I am without words to describe how it feels to be a daddy, all I can say is that I will go to no end to keep my girls (Annie too) safe, loved, and well photographed.  They are the center of my universe.

I know you are dying to see photos so here they are with more to come soon:

Here she is mere seconds after being born.

The women of my dreams.

One deliriously Happy Papa!

Kathi, our awesome midwife.

Ann's mom, so amazing! I hope that Ann can be to Marin what Ann's mom was to her.
